The Hilscher RIF PROFIBUS Interface is based on our company technology of the successful COM and CIF series of fieldbus interfaces. With the RIF interface you will obtain tested and trusted technology. The RIF interface board extends the successful Rockwell Automation FlexLogix product family with an interface for the PROFIBUS. The interface is suitable for use in controls, I/O modules and drive technology. Hilscher is an active participant in the Rockwell Automation Encompass program and has developed the RIF Interface boards on the basis technical documentation from Rockwell Automation. The Encompass program offers the user the possibility of using enhanced functionalities for Rockwell Automation products from third parties.
